The public is welcome to attend meetings of the Royalton Hartland Community Library Board of Trustees!

The Board of Trustees Annual Meeting is scheduled for Monday, July 20th , 2026 at 6:30 PM.

The Royalton Hartland Community Library Board of Trustees is currently seeking
applicants to fill one vacant board seat. The seat was made available after a board
member’s resignation due to relocating outside of the Royalton Hartland School District.
The appointed trustee will serve from September 22, 2026, through the Annual Meeting
in June 2027, with the option of remaining on the Board for a regular three-year term.
According to the RHCL By-Laws, current Board of Trustee members will select one
candidate from the pool of applicants. The selected candidate will take the oath of office
at the September 21, 2026, Board meeting.
Interested candidates must be at least 18 years of age, reside in the service area of the
Royalton Hartland School District, and be available to attend all scheduled Board
meetings.
Trustee application packets are accessible starting July 23, 2026, and must be returned
to the library no later than August 22, 2026. Hard copy election packets are available at
the Front Desk of the library (9 Vernon Street, Middleport) during normal library hours,
